Muscalas Villas

Villas Muscalas is a complex of 2 private pool villas, in Paxos located deep in the traditional olive groves, with stunning views of the Ionian sea. Just 2 minutes walking from the cosmopolitan Monodendri beach. The place where Villas Muscalas are located is called Danilis and got its name from Daniil the first resident of the area who used to live there all alone in his shack. The place is also called Monodentri because, at the time, only one olive tree existed at the beach until the Venetians moved to the island and planted the rest of them.

The Muscalas family used to gather the seeds from the olive trees and carried them on the backs of their donkeys through small paths. The elder Muscalas was a sailor, but after a serious accident he became a fisherman and used to build stone walls, some of them saved until today. It is worth mentioning that right beside the port of Lakka there is an islet which the old fishermen still call the “old Andreas Muscalas corner” as he used to fish there.

Downstairs there is an open plan living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Next to these you can find one of the two bedrooms with two single beds, a wardrobe, a boudoir, a/c and a window insert protection. The room overlooks the pool and the sea. Going upstairs you can find the second bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, boudoir, a/c, mosquito net, its own bathroom and most importantly private terrace where the visitor can enjoy his/her breakfast or even a refreshing cocktail at sunset. In each room there are fresh bed linen, clean face and body towels as well as curtains able to shade the room. In addition, each house has its own private garden with a dining table and a private pool.
